Processing your dossier
How does the Crous process your grant application?
To reduce processing delays to a minimum, it is essential to respect the time limits in registering online your DSE application accompanied with all required supporting documents. The late transmission of the document holds up the whole chain of the processing of the dossier.
|Between 15th January and 31th May||The student makes the application online|
|Within 48 hours||A dossier is sent to the student (copy of the on-line application)|
|Within eight days||The student returns by post the completed dossier to the address indicated on the notice accompanying the dossier|
|Within the month following the return of the completed dossier||The Crous processes the application and sends a reply to the student by e-mail|
|In the month following the retun of the completed dossier||The student receives by email a conditional notification of the award of a grant and/or housing or a notification of rejection|
|From June to October||The student enrolls/registers in an institution of higher education|
|From June to October||The student or the institution concerned confirms to Crous the full enrollment/registration of the student|
|From September onwards : depending on the definitive proofs of enrollment received||
|During the first university term||The student receives the first payment, the grant on social grounds is paid in ten monthly payments (from September to June).||
