- Information / Course guidance / Advice: our service provides information about the legal rights and provisions for disabled students. We also provide information for academic and administrative staff to help them understand the specific disability-related needs and problems. We offer course guidance to help choose the right degree course.
- Study support: We supply disability-related study support, special equipment and learning support, and make examination arrangements (eg: note-takers). We consider personal equipement applications.
Research in the field of computer support. Tutorials and teaching aid are available. We provide accessible transportation, such as adapted shuttles (funded by the District Council) operating in the campus.
- Access department: In 1993, we established this department which, alongside experts, has been working to improve the access to premises for all people with disabilities.
- GreCo project (Grenoble open campus): Special interactive multimedia softwares are made available to distance-learning students.
- Disabled students career planning: Our service provides individual assistance with career planning.
Facts and figures: Around 390 disabled students are attending Grenoble university.
In 2005-2006, the social services offered assistance to 132 disabled students, leading to 330 meetings.
